what principles guide the making of the informal education
homepage?
The page is designed around some basic requirements:

simple and flat structures giving easy access.

low page maintenance. (The size of the homepage, and the limited resources
we have makes this a necessity).
- concise,
relevant information on demand.
- fast loading of
pages (some of our pages are necessarily large - but we have tried to avoid
the over-use of large graphics).
We are not
always able to deliver this - but we try!
